URGENT EBOLA IN CONGO
Let’s help our friends at Grace Hospital,
where we carry out operations every year,
to protect themselves from the Ebola virus.
“The Ebola outbreak is developing in an alarming manner in our region.
Ituri is the province neighbouring ours, with which we have close trade links and significant population movements.
Haut-Uele is currently highly vulnerable and could be affected at any time.
Grace Hospital is seeking a small amount of funding to build resilience and carry out patient triage.
The plan is to erect a secure gate at the main entrance, set up a small booth for temperature checks and triage next to it, and install hand-washing facilities with chlorinated water…
We also need to purchase masks and chlorine for this purpose.”

THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATIONS!
They have enabled us to purchase basic protective equipment.
The fight on the ground continues as the outbreak spreads; sadly, there has been a first case at Grâce Hospital, resulting in a 21-day quarantine for the entire facility. Our thoughts are with our Congolese friends.
