Overall objective
The project aims to improve the quality and safety of pediatric oncology care in Cameroon by providing training in the implementation and handling of implantable port systems (IPS).
Six children underwent surgery (mainly removals due to infection or remission). Three out of six cases presented with device infection.

Our goal was achieved on Saturday, 25 October 2025, with the shipment of four patient trolleys, 30m3 of medical equipment and 900kg of hospital linen to the Hôpital de la Paix in Ziguinchor,
as well as more than 400 medical books to replenish the library of the Ziguinchor Faculty of Medicine.
